The morning I traveled to Hiroshima, I was sitting on a bullet train. I watched the scenery rush past the window. The ride felt like any other trip at first. People were talking quietly, checking their phones, or looking out the window. However, I knew I was heading somewhere different. That name appeared in school and in conversations about history. Build Essential Teamwork and Have Fun at Volleyball Sessions

When people talk about teamwork, I mainly think through the lens of volleyball. Team Play Ethos in Volleyball In Singapore, people usually play together. Everyone still carries a little bit of their own game. Moreover, in Japan, and especially in Omoroi Life’s Volleyball, the Japan Volleyball Club embraces a similar ethos. Even when somebody is strong enough to score on their own, they still look for another person. One touch becomes two touches and two touches becomes three. The point is for the team rather than for any particular individual player. My volleyball team at SAS is close. We joke around together. We sit together after practice. Nobody dislikes anybody.

A Middle Schooler’s Volleyball Journey For my first blog for Omoroi Life, I’d like to share my journey to Volleyball. During my 7th grade year in middle school, I used to always play soccer. I never really thought about trying out for any other sports. I was so into playing Brawl Star with my best friend, Luke. Things started to change when I received an email from the high school varsity volleyball coach, Coach Sparrow, who invited the entire middle school, telling students to come and tryouts for high school volleyball. カリフォルニアでの運転免許の取り方！

はじめまして！ 大阪生まれロサンゼルス在住ラッパーのPEPPERです！ Instagram @pepper.horie TikTok @pepper_osaka 今回はロサンゼルス（カリフォルニア州）での車の運転免許の取得方法を説明します。 と、その前に日本で国際免許を取ってからいく方法もありますので、軽く説明しますと日本で運転免許を持ってる方は住んでる都道府県の免許センターに行けば2350円で簡単に取得できます。（テストなどもなし）時間は30分〜1時間ぐらい 持ち物などは都道府県別の公式HPで確認ください。 「国際免許　大阪」などで検索すれば簡単 これでも、もちろんアメリカで運転免許できますが、、、 カリフォルニア州に関してはその国際免許は10日間しか通用しません。。。なので、入国して10日間用です。。（旅行なら便利かも） なのでカリフォルニアで生活を考えてる方（個人的には3ヶ月以上）なら免許は必須になると思います。 それではここから本題に入りましてカリフォルニア州での免許の取得方法を説明していきたいと思います。 まず住んでる近くのDMV（免許センター）をGoogle mapsなどで検索してください。現地の人いわくサンタモニカやハリウッドなどの観光地はあまりオススメしないそうです。理由は人が多いから並ぶ時間が長いのと、実技テストの時に歩行者や自転車が多いので少し難しいらしいです。 自分の近所にDMVを見つけたら平日の8〜17時までに行ってください。毎回3時間ぐらいは並ぶらしいので到着するのは13時までの方がいいです。（予約できるならしておいた方がいいですが1週間先とかになるみたいです） 持ち物はパスポート、I-20、I-94、住所を証明できる物（水道代、電気代などの明細）僕はこれが無かったので3時間待ったのに建物の中にすら入れなかった。。。 そうなんです。 日本みたいに涼しい建物で3時間ではなくてカリフォルニアの太陽を浴びながらなので服装や水分などには気をつけてください！ コンビニは歩いて10分ぐらいの所にありますが、1人で並ぶ場合は必ず先に行ってください！ とまあ実際DMVに行ってきましたが自分の住所を証明する書類がなかったので今回はここまで。。。 次回月曜日の朝からDMVに行ってきます！ お楽しみに^_^
