Language Café

Come brush-up, practice and/or learn Japanese or other languages. This is a casual and informal setting for folks to get together, enjoy practicing a foreign language and meet new people. Any foreign language level is welcome.

We usually have about 50-75% Japanese and the rest are foreigners from many countries, both travelers and foreign locals. Everyone is welcome.

Session format (we are casual, but we will form groups to allow chatting time with everyone):

• Small groups will be formed (4-6 people) to allow everyone time to talk and meet new people. Groups will be balanced with both Japanese and foreigners in each group.
• We will shuffle groups about every 30 minutes, so folks can chat with everyone.
• Depending on the number of attendees, there will be a free talk time for the last hour.

* Once you arrive, please buy a drink on the 1st floor bar and say you are there for the English café. We will be on the 2nd floor.
