Description

What is PICKLEBALL!?!

View us on:

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis using a plastic ball with holes (which moves typically slower than the previously mentioned sports, making it welcome for all levels of sport). Pickleball is also considered one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States. But this sport is completely new in Japan, so most players are beginner to intermediate.

Pickleball Game Play

Most of our sessions are played indoor, but occasionally will play outdoor (which will be marked as outdoor in the title). We will give a quick easy lesson about the rules and play, but soon afterwards enjoy nice rallies and games with Japanese and foreign locals!

Each session attendees is usually a good balance of guys/girls, Japanese, foreigners and travelers. Average age of the members is 20’s/30’s/40’s.

Feel free to join by yourself or as a group, many people come by themselves so don’t worry if you are alone, for this is a casual, fun time to meet new people, while enjoying some sport.

Please NOTE:

  • Please be sure to wear indoor sports shoes, because outdoor use shoe are not allowed inside.
